My name is Jiao Yuan (焦元), a Master's student in Bioinformatics at Sichuan University (SCU), advised by Prof. Tao Ma. I am committed to using computational techniques and machine learning methods to investigate fundamental questions in life sciences.

My Master's research focuses on:

• Single-cell genomics and meiotic recombination landscape in Populus alba var. pyramidalis
• Single-cell transcriptomics and developmental regulation in Populus alba var. pyramidalis
• Explainable deep learning for phenotyping and trait prediction in Idesia polycarpa
• Development of bioinformatics tools for long-read transcriptome and methylome analysis
