I'm Jiao Yuan.

A lifelong learner, I am a Linux and programming enthusiast with a passion for AI, the UNIX philosophy, open-source, sports, reading, and history.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Chengdu University of Technology and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Bioinformatics at Sichuan University.

My research focuses on single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, including plant single-cell atlas construction and genetic recombination analysis using 10x scRNA-seq. I also work on deep learning in life sciences, applying CNN and geometric morphometrics for multi-modal fusion modeling. In addition, I develop bioinformatics tools and visualization packages with Python and R.

I run a WeChat Official Account called 猫四叔, where I share thoughts on computer science and life.
